Overview of the Brehm Residency, our signature cohort program.

Support artists.

Support the church.

Help unleash creativity in the Church.

Your support matters.

The Brehm Center at Fuller Seminary is a place where worship, theology, and the arts meet. We believe that creativity is a powerful gift from God that can be used for healing and transformation.

Art allows us to connect to ourselves when sometimes words fail. It cuts through trauma and tension and discord in a different way. Art can help bring the unity we seek in the church.

We are committed to equipping artists and ministry leaders to use their talents for the glory of God. Through our cohorts, events, and resources, we provide artists with the tools and support they need to thrive in their ministries.

We also offer opportunities for artists and ministry leaders to connect with others who share similar passions to move forward together to share their work with the wider church community.

___

We believe the arts have a vital role to play in the church, and your support makes that happen.

Through our initiatives and resources, your donations will help us continue to provide programs and resources that equip artists and ministry leaders, and nurture the creative gifts of God's people.

“I realized how much fear of vulnerability, judgment, and my work not being good had distorted my relationship with art. For the past three to four years, I stopped producing anything because I was so scared of creating something imperfect that I completely shut down. This fear consumed me and prevented me from fulfilling God’s purpose for me. Since starting this residency, all those ideas that God had been planting in me have returned, urging me to restart the creative process, whether it’s for others or just for myself. This experience has marked a turning point in my life, where I feel God is reigniting my passion for creation.”
