Brehm awarded $171k grant to bring back The Resilient Artist Project
The grant from The Creative Arts Collective for Christian Life and Faith & Belmont University will allow the facilitation of one of signature cohort experiences.
The Brehm Center is excited to announce that it was awarded a new grant from The Creative Arts Collective for Christian Life and Faith to restart The Resilient Artist Project, one of its signature cohort experiences.
The $171,117 grant is made possible from The Creative Arts Collective and Belmont University, who had received a transformational gift from the Lilly Endowment Inc., that looks to support efforts in inspiring people from diverse contexts to discover and live the beauty and wisdom of the Christian story and encounter God through the arts.
The Resilient Artist Project is one of Brehm’s signature cohort experiences that happens over 12-months, blending online and in-person experiences, combining spiritual practices and mental health tools to cultivate spiritual resilience with fellow artists. The cohort is guided by both a spiritual director and licensed therapist.
