Special Screening of The Good Road: Season 5 premiere: “Religious Freedom”

  • Travis Auditorium at Fuller Theological Seminary 135 North Oakland Avenue Pasadena, CA, 91101 United States (map)

Brehm Film is excited to host a special screening of the Emmy-Nominated American Public Television’s The Good Road Season 5 premiere: "Religious Freedom."

Hosts Earl Bridges and Craig Martin- longtime philanthropy veterans, globe-trotters, and best friends- set off around the world to places where people are doing good. Sometimes that good is several plane rides away and sometimes just off your own daily commute.

In the season 5 premiere episode being screened, The Good Road team explores religious freedom and pluralism in a region haunted by violence and trauma. We hear personal stories of resilience and survival and meet a reporter in Istanbul, Turkey who has covered the region for decades. What do a Bahai, a Christian, and an atheist all have in common in a predominantly Muslim country? They all believe in the future of Iraq for everyone.

After the screening, we'll have a lively Q&A with co-host/co-producer, Craig Martin, Hardwired Global Founder and President Tina Ramirez (a human rights non-profit featured in the episode), and a member of the Fuller faculty.
